This month saw releases and upgrades from some major players including Sparx Systems, MEGA and Microsoft. Sparx released three new editions of Enterprise Architect, specifically meant to serve the business community,
software developers and systems/hardware designers. It also announced the upgrade of its Unified Modeling Language based modeling and design tool, Enterprise Architect 7.5. The upgrade version contains an expanded toolbox of modelers and designers.
Meanwhile, Microsoft released the sixth version of Microsoft BizTalk Server ,an enterprise integration and connectivity server; MEGA announced the latest version of its Modeling Suite that supports the NATO architecture framework; Servoy released version 5.0,which offers a variety of new functions, and Neptuny Caplan is now available as a SaaS.
