MicroFocus releases Modernization Workbench 2.1

Micro Focus, a provider of enterprise application management tools, released Modernization Workbench 2.1, an upgrade of Modernization Workbench. Modernization Workbench allows users to analyze and control existing IT applications.

According to Micro Focus, the new version extends support for large application portfolios by allowing developers to view detailed application documentation and visualization. It also allows managers to overlay business views and descriptions onto applications, says Micro Focus. Modernization Workbench was previously produced by Relativity Technologies, which was acquired by Micro Focus in January, 2009.
