Tools from Micro Focus, JNBridge and Sparx received upgrades this month, while Parasoft released a new product. Micro Focus released Modernization Workbench 2.1, which provides additional tools for both developers and managers to analyze and control applications. This is Micro Focus' first release of the product since acquiring Relativity Technologies, who previously produced Modernization Workbench.

JNBridge released JNBridgePRO 4.1, which allows for increased interoperability between Java and Windows Presentation Foundation applications. Sparx released a new profile for Service-Oriented Architecture Modeling Language (SoaML) for use within Enterprise Architect 7.5. Parasoft released SOA Quality Solution, which helps developers create end-to-end test suites for business processes and systems integration testing.
