SQUID


DEFINITION - SQUID is also an abbreviation for Source Quench Introduced Delay, a networking term, and superconducting quantum interference device.

SQUID is a program that caches Web and other Internet content in a Unix-based proxy server closer to the user than the content-originating site. SQUID is provided as open source software and can be used under the GNU license of the Free Software Foundation.
