About Emerging SOA standards
Web services standards improve systems interoperability by providing a set of rules for standardized interactions between services and between applications. Web services are software systems that support interoperable interactions between machines over a network. The interoperability comes from a set of XML-based open standards like WSDL, SOAP and UDI, which provide an approach for defining, publishing, and using Web services. Web services are the favored standards-based way to realize SOA. Find more information on SOA standards from standards organizations such as W3C, OSASIS, and DMTF and read news, tips and advice in this topic section.
