The Netegrity TransactionMinder -- winner of the Bronze Award -- is an identity based Web services security product used to secure high-volume complex Web services transactions in production environments. It secures access to Web services by inspecting the security information contained in the XML documents.

Using a simple Web interface, security admins can create, define and manage authentication, authorization and audit policies for all Web application and Web service transactions.

The product is fully compliant with the WS-Security 1.0 specification, including support for three different authentication mechanisms, username/password digest, X509 digital certificates, and SAML 1.1 assertions.

TransactionMinder 6.0 also adds support for a variety of architectures including .NET and Apache.
