Metallect said its search engine reduces search times by 80%, speeding up projects and reducing costs. The search is accessed via a Web browser and features the ability to create a "resource catalog" of application functionality. It also creates semantic links between functions in different applications that enables developers to search based on a concept, rather than via specific keywords.

Pricing starts at $75,000 and can reach $500,000 for enterprise-wide deployments.
