Parasoft Corp., Monrovia, Calif., has released a new version of its Web services testing tool that adds support for WS-Security and MIME attachments. SOAPtest 2.5 also includes enhanced load testing features, according to Parasoft.

The WS-Security support includes configurable SOAP headers and support for X509, SAML, username security tokens, XML digital signature and XML encryption.

MIME attachment support includes meeting SOAP with attachments and OASIS ebXML specifications and sending and receiving both text/XML and binary attachments.

The new load testing features include SNMP and Windows monitors, customizable HTML reports and detailed report histograms.

SOAPtest 2.5 is available for Windows 2000, Windows XP, Linux and Solaris.
