Intalio Inc., San Mateo, Calif., will now offer its business process management software in Europe and has opened two offices there.

Intalio said its new client support center in Brussels includes a technical help desk, and it also offers services such as consulting, training and implementation support. The company also has a new London office.

Intalio, whose Intalio 2.0 business process management system was released in February, cited Aberdeen Group research from 2002 that predicts that business process management spending in Europe will reach $850 million this year and up to $1.67 billion by 2005. After North America, Europe is the most lucrative market for BPM spending, according to Aberdeen's research.

Intalio said it is also on the OASIS technical committee working on the proposed Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) 1.1 specification.
