Several new products and product updates for SOA were released this month. New and updated products include:
Platform Symphony Five
Platform Computing improved access speeds in its SOA grid product Symphony this month. The product is targeted at the financial services industry.
Express Logic ThreadX
RTOS maker Express Logic, Inc. joined Real-Time Logic to integrate the Barracuda Embedded Web Server with Express Logic's ThreadX RTOS and NetX TCP/IP stack.
Skyway Builder
Skyway Software restructured Skyway Builder, an open source code generation tool for Java EE that works with the Spring Java application framework, into five separate editions.
XAware 5.4
XAware has released XAware 5.4, a new version of the open source data integration tool. XAware is designed to simplify access to and from external data sources within a SOA.
Zend Server 5.0
Zend Technologies, provider of tools and services for PHP application development and management, released the beta version of Zend Server 5.0.
Altova MissionKit
Altova updated its XML, database and UML tool suite, MissionKit this month to v2010. The new version has gained support for a number of newer technologies and is compatible with Microsoft Windows 7.
