IBM Corp. announced today that its IBM Tivoli Access Manager identity management software now supports Microsoft .NET environments.

applications via Tivoli Access Manager, which already supports Java and Windows development platforms.

Tivoli Access Manager can use the same security policy deployed for other platforms for ASP.NET and enforces and audits access to applications and data.

Also included is a Windows desktop single sign-on feature enabling users to log on once and be automatically authenticated to applications protected by Tivoli Access Manager.

Developers can download .NET support from IBM's developer site IBM alphaWorks
