XML firewall adds security to integration package

Integration service provider Grand Central Communications and Reactivity Inc. announced last week an integration package that offers enterprises scalable and secure integration capabilities that comply with government-regulated privacy and security laws and enterprise policies like HIPAA and Gramm-Leach Bliley.

XML Firewall enables WSDL files generated by Grand Central to be pulled into the firewall for provisioning.

The combination supports translation between internal message protocols like JMS, MQ and Tibco, Internet protocols like SOAP and HTTP and legacy protocols like FTP, SecureFTP, NTFPS and AS/2. It also enforces authentication and security policies.

XML Firewall enables Web services deployment and provisioning by securing the privacy of messages as they travel.
