SOAPstation is part of the company's Actional for Microsoft product line that manages Web services and service-oriented applications. Also included are Actional Looking Glass Server for Microsoft, Actional Active Agents that monitor and manage Web services in Windows environments, Actional Web Services Management Pack, Looking Glass Microsoft Operations Manager Connector and Actional Controls for Visual Studio .NET.

SOAPstation acts as a proxy and brokers interactions between applications providing Web services and the systems that build on them. Administrators can manage service upgrades, roll-backs and retirements; access control, logging, alerting, auditing and reporting of service activity using SOAPstation. It also allows for service provisioning and the ability to apply global in-flight message processing policy, Actional said.
