CA manages Web services on MOM 2000

Computer Associates International, Inc. on Tuesday released a Web services management module for Microsoft Operations Manager 2000.

Unicenter Web Services Distributed Management (WSDM) Pack is a new integration option for MOM 2000 that monitors the availability and performance of enterprise Web services on .NET and J2EE environments.

The pack contains a knowledge base that provides alert descriptions, remediation suggessions and processing rules.

Unicenter Web Services Distributed Management automatically discovers, tests and monitors Web services. Users are also able to integrate MOM with Unicenter Network and Systems Management receiving alerts and reports from MOM and other management software on a network.

It is available as a free download to licensed Unicenter WSDM customers.
