GSA bypasses RFP process for BPM vendor

Staff report

The federal government has authorized its technology buyers to bypass the formal request for proposal (RFP) process when purchasing products from Intalio Inc., San Mateo, Calif.

The company said that its Intalio N3 business process management system (BPMS) is now available for direct purchase by any federal government buyers on the General Services Administration (GSA) schedule 70. In addition, Intalio can now sell its products directly to federal, state and local buying agencies through the recent cooperative purchasing agreement from the GSA.
