Software maker played role in WS-I use cases

Staff report

Bowstreet Inc., Tewksbury, Mass., said that it played a major role in solving interoperability issues that helped bring about the Web Services Interoperability Organization's recently released Sample Applications use cases.

Bowstreet, a maker of J2EE-based developer tools, said that it was one of 10 vendors that built sample applications that interoperate with and conform to the WS-I's Basic Profile 1.0, which governs how standards such as SOAP, WSDL and HTTP work together.
