Cape Clear takes WS approach to data integration

Cape Clear Software Inc., Waltham, Mass., is taking a Web services-based approach to solving the problem of integrating data with enterprise applications with its new Data Interchange product.

The new component to the company's Business Integration Suite converts various data sources, such as text files, spreadsheets and ZIP files into XML Schema. It also offers a runtime capability that routes the data to the appropriate back-end application, Cape Clear said.

Cape Clear said that companies can leverage Data Interchange, along with its other Business Integration Suite components, to use Web services to integrate data with existing IT assets.
