Actional creates WS products for .NET

Actional Corp., Mountain View, Calif., said it has released a new version of its Web services management software tailored to Microsoft's .NET development environment and its Windows operating system.

The Actional for Microsoft offerings are compatible with other versions of the Actional's Web services management products, the company said. The new offerings include Microsoft-specific versions of Actional's Web service broker and its service network management and policy server. It also includes a set of Actional agents to monitor and manage Web service activity across Windows deployment environments.

In addition to a previously released agent for .NET, Actional will also now support Microsoft's Web Services Enhancements for .NET and an agent for Microsoft's BizTalk Server.
