Free 'light' version of SOAP tool offered

XML firewall maker Reactivity Inc., Belmont, Calif., on Monday said it is distributing a free "light" version of Mindreef Inc.'s Web services diagnostic tool.

SOAPscope Lite is designed to detect "rogue" Web services on a network and get an organization's Web services applications running more quickly by capturing and revealing the content of XML and SOAP messages.

The co-branded version of Hollis, N.H.-based Mindreef's SOAPscope tool is available now from Reactivity's Web site.
