Blue Titan, BEA chosen for mortgage-processing portal

Blue Titan Software Inc., San Francisco, will provide service-oriented architecture (SOA) technology to Accredited Home Lenders Inc., a San Diego-based mortgage company.

Accredited Home Lenders has chosen San Jose, Calif.-based BEA System Inc.'s WebLogic application infrastructure platform for its IT infrastructure and next-generation customer portal. The company plans to use Blue Titan's Network Director 2.0 to tie the solution together into a services-oriented architecture (SOA) by delivering message-based security, reliability and lifecycle management.

The software vendors said that their technologies will allow Accredited Home Lenders to build service-based applications for control, performance and manageability of automated and mortgage processing and servicing.
