FTC tabs Westbridge for Web services management

The Federal Trade Commission has picked Westbridge Technology's XML Message Server to manage and secure its XML Web services.

The Federal Trade Commission has picked Westbridge Technology Inc.'s XML Message Server (XMS) to manage and secure

its XML Web services.

Mountain View, Calif.-based Westbridge said the FTC is used XMS "service views" to set up rules and deploy over a single weekend. XMS will be used in a number of projects throughout the FTC to enable internal and external XML Web services communication, Westbridge said.

XMS will also enable the FTC to communicate with other government agencies.
