Reactivity to add Tarari accelerator to XML firewall

Reactivity says it will add Tarari's XML accelerator technology to the next version of its XML firewall security appliances.

Reactivity Inc., Belmont, Calif., and Tarari Inc., San Diego, are collaborating on the next version of Reactivity's...

XML firewall security appliances.

As part of the partnership, Reactivity will add Tarari's Content Processor and XML acceleration tools to its XML firewall product to prevent a bottleneck of XML-based Web services messages.

Reactivity said its XML firewall sits at the edge of the corporate network to secure message flow between distributed applications. It acts as an XML proxy that performs authentication, authorization, auditing, XML validation and routing to secure bi-directional message flow.

XML accelerators such as Tarari's are designed to keep those messages flowing.
