Reactivity, others plan WS security seminar series

Staff report

Reactivity Inc. (Belmont, Calif.), nCipher plc (Cambridge, England) and RSA Security Inc. (Bedford, Mass.) are planning a series of free seminars to demonstrate cases of XML and Web services security in Fortune 2000 companies.

The live and Web-based seminars are being presented in San Francisco, New York and on the Internet, and will follow the experiences of a Fortune 50 financial services company and the security challenges it faces as it deploys Web services to a number of its key customers and partners, the trio of vendors said.

The seminars will be given by John Lilly, vice president and chief technical officer for Reactivity; Stu Vaeth, director of strategic alliances for nCipher, and Andrew Nash, director of technologies for RSA Security. The series targets security architects, product managers, business line managers and developers.
