Amazon offers third-party sellers a self-service Web service

Internet retailer Amazon.com will use Systinet Corp.'s Web Applications and Services Platform (WASP) to provide a gateway for integrating third party merchants with Amazon.

Systinet, Cambridge, Mass., said it has signed an enterprise license agreement with Amazon.com for its Web services infrastructure software. Amazon.com provides merchants who sell through its Web site an on-demand, "self-service" interface using standards-based Web services.
