DaimlerChrysler Services North America LLC has chosen Phaos Technology Corp., New York, to provide it with Web services security technology for use in one of its consumer credit application business systems.
DaimlerChrysler is integrating Phaos' XML Security components with its credit application to enable dealerships to help customers choose vehicle-financing options during the sales process. The Web service allows secure interoperability between DaimlerChrysler and its external business partners, Phaos said.
Phaos said its XML APIs are modeled on JAXP and Cryptographic APIs to allow developers to integrate Phaos security technologies into existing business applications.
