Sextant Business Solutions, Sparta, N.J., has released the latest version of its legacy application analysis process and tools set.
Sextant said its Decomp 4.05 product has several new features, including a major redesign of its business process/business rules editor, Detailed Deengineering; a new application source code archive and research facility, System Inventory; and a new legacy application system complexity analysis function, Code Statistics.
Decomp 4.05 is designed to help IT application managers, application architects and chief information officers with their projects where legacy application functionality needs to be replicated, application support knowledge is limited, subject matter expertise is missing and/or current application documentation is incomplete.
