Optimyz updates Web services testing tool

Optimyz Software Inc., Santa Clara, Calif., has released the latest version of its Web services testing tool.

WebServiceTester 2.0 is an automated functional, regression, load and performance testing and monitoring tool for Web services. The tool does not require programming knowledge, which allows business users to perform their own Web services tests, according to Optimyz.

Optimyz said its tool automatically generates test cases and test data. It also supports testing of Web services workflows that may be using complex, user-defined XML schema types. WebServiceTester 2.0 supports RPC-literal, RPC-encoding, document-literal and document-encoding based Web services.
