Forum's gateways first to comply with security standard

Forum Systems has announced that its XML Web services security gateway products are the first to comply with the Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS).

Forum Systems Inc., Salt Lake City, has announced that its XML Web services security gateway products are the first to comply with the Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-2 Level III standard for the WS-Security 1.0 specification.

The FIPS standard, developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, identifies a consistent set of safety and tamper-resistant criteria for hardware-based products.
