Actional updates Web services management platform

Actional Corp., Mountain View, Calif., has released an upgraded version of its Web services management platform. Actional SOAPstation 4.1 includes tools to integrate management policy deployment into the application development lifecycle and is designed to manage legacy XML-based services and accelerate the transition of those services to Web service standards, Actional said.

Actional SOAPstation 4.1 also provides support for managing XML services created and deployed prior to the introduction of Web service standards such as SOAP and WSDL.
