Systinet ships software for Web services apps

Systinet Corp. of Cambridge, Mass., has shipped the newest version of its server software for Web services applications.

WASP Server for Java 4.5 is designed to create, run and managing Web services applications. Version 4.5 feature new functionality, including WASP-embedding capabilities to embed Web services into existing Java applications.

Other enhancements include SOAP header processing for interoperating with Microsoft .NET, greater XML schema support and enhanced security through support for Microsoft Active Directory for user authentication and Kerberos as a single sign-on mechanism, according to Systinet.

The software is available for free download from Systinet's Web site.
