Second edition of 'Swing' published

Manning Publications Co. of Greenwich, Conn., has published the second edition "Swing." The newest installment covers each Swing component with production-quality code examples. The new edition also has more than 400 pages of revised text and three new chapters, according to the publishers. Swing Second Edition includes coverage of new or enhanced Swing features of J2SE 1.4. This reference and tutorial is written for those with an intermediate understanding of Swing.

The reference is co-authored by Matt Robinson and Pavel Vorobiev, co-founders of Santa Clara, Calif.-based The foreword is written by James Gosling, the "father of Java."
