The SilverStream product suite includes the following:
- SilverStream eXtend Application Server
- SilverStream eXtend Workbench
- SilverStream eXtend Composer
- SilverStream eXtend Director
SilverStream eXtend Application Server
The eXtend Application Server supports widely accepted standards and protocols such as XML, SOAP, WSDL and UDDI. And unlike some application servers needing to protect their own database offerings, SilverStream provides connectivity to a extensive range of databases. The eBusiness Engines also support other J2EE application servers beyond its own, including BEA WebLogic, IBM WebSphere and Oracle 9i.
SilverStream eXtend Workbench
The eXtend workbench allows developers to create, assemble and deploy J2EE and Web Services-based applications using a variety of included visual designers and editors. Built-in wizards help step the user through the creation of Web services, either from scratch or using existing Java classes and EJBs.

SilverStream eXtend Composer
SilverStream eXtend Composer is currently in beta (formerly the commercial product xCommerce). Composer provides a way to create Web Services by XML-enabling enterprise application data on the back-end. Any vendor package supporting an XML interface can be integrated into eXtend Composer, including Microsoft's .Net technology.
SilverStream eXtend Director
Also available in beta at the time of this writing, eXtend Director (formerly the commercial product ePortal) delivers your Web services to any Internet-enabled device. Director allows your dynamic content to be personalized and customized depending on the type of receiving device, be it a browser, PDA, phone or whatever.
