NEON Systems releases workflow technology
NEON Systems Inc., a Sugar Land, Texas-based provider of e-business integration and mainframe utility software, has released its iWave BusinessFlow, which the company said provides a Java-based business process and workflow engine to enable the integration of data, applications, business processes and human workflow.
NEON Systems said the technology is the product of a partnership with Enterworks Inc., an Ashburn, Va.-based vendor of supplier-enablement software. NEON Systems will integrate Enterworks Process Integrator and Enterworks Content Integrator software into NEON Systems' iWave Solution, NEON Systems said.
Data Access Technologies announces Web services tools
Data Access Technologies (DAT) has announced the release of Component-X 1.0 for visual and intuitive drag-and-drop assembly and configuration of enterprise business components and Web services. Component-X works with legacy systems, new applications and services that integrate new and legacy capabilities, according to Miami, Fla.-based DAT.
Component-X can support ebXML, HTTP, SOAP, .Net, Corba, J2EE, MQ-Series, SQL, XSL, Java Messaging and other technologies by adding components, DAT said. Component-X provides a visual approach to designing, building and assembling Java-XML components for Web-services, B2B, enterprise integration and supply chain automation, the company said. The Component-X Platform - Standard Edition is available for free download. The standard edition allows the creation and testing of components, but not deployment of them. The release of compatible application server deployment packages is scheduled for next quarter, the company said.
Starbase announces SilverStream application server integration
Starbase Corp., a Santa Ana, Calif.-based provider of development and content management applications, has announced integration between StarTeam 4.2 and the SilverStream application server, version 3.7.
The integration with the Billerica, Mass.-based SilverStream's application server will accelerate the delivery of Web applications for organizations deploying to multiple platforms, according to Starbase.
