The beta for Sybase's PowerBuilder 12, a program that converts Win32 code to the .NET framework, is now available. New features include a rewritten DataWindow that natively supports Windows Presentation Foundation, drag-and-drop capability from the Solution Explorer and visual inheritance for Windows Presentation Foundation windows and user objects. Sybase will ship the final product with two modules: one for Windows 32-based development and another for creating Windows Presentation Foundation-based applications on top of the Microsoft Visual Studio shell.
