IBM integrated its WebSphere DataPower SOA Appliances with Tivoli Security Policy Manager. The integration of the

two tool sets allows enterprise architects and security operations teams to centrally manage security policies for Web services. The products are intended to improve performance of operational and lifecycle governance policies with the ability to delegate and audit policies. Delegating and auditing processes can reduce the need for manual policy administration. The integration of these tools coincides with the release of IBM Proventia SiteProtector 8.0, part of IBM's Web application security offerings.
