the practice. AmberPoint, meanwhile, will train and support IBM sales and consulting teams.

The SOA Management Practice offers security, monitoring, performance, business performance management, integration brokers, catalog support and extensibility services to help enterprises move their Web services beyond departmental deployments, IBM said.

AmberPoint's management products run on Java and .NET platforms.
