Layer 7 adds SecureSpan Server to portfolio

Web services security vendor Layer 7 Technologies has added to its SecureSpan portfolio with the availability of the SecureSpan Server combines the SecureSpan XML Gateway and Firewall that can be deployed on existing hardware.

Layer 7 said the server gives enterprises the ability to control Web service security, routing and transformation policy on a requestor identity, target service address or message content level without programming.

It also integrates with different access control and middleware infrastructures, and includes clustering, console and API based administration, integrated certificate management and advanced policy management controls.

Pricing starts at $25,000 per CPU license.
