StrikeIron Inc. of Durham, N.C., announced Monday that it will begin offering components of DataFlux Corp.'s Web-based data management technology as Web services through StrikeIron's Web Services Business Network (WSBizNet).
The first component is the StrikeIron Address Verification Premium Web Services. It will be available via a pay-per-use subscription, enabling SMBs and enterprise departments to use this service without having to make a larger investment.

The StrikeIron Address Verification Premium Web Service gives users instant address verification -- verified, matched and appended with accurate data from the U.S. Postal Service, Canada Post, and the U.S. Census Bureau-- and enhanced contact information (geocoding, telephone-based statistical information, zip+4 codes, and carrier route) that includes live data from DataFlux.
Other Web services available on the StrikeIron network include tax data systems sales and use tax rates, mobile SMS messaging, and Do Not Call List access.
