Jeff Reser, Product Manager, WebSphere eBusiness Solutions, IBM
Jeff Reser joined IBM in 1981, and is currently a product manager for e-business solutions, specifically for the WebSphere Application Server. Jeff is responsible for many aspects of the product, including delivery plans, market support plans, channels, strategy, design, and requirements - while acting as liaison between Marketing and Development.
For the past several years, Jeff has worked in the technical e-business and Network Computing architecture group in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, and was one of the chief architects of the e-business software portfolio and the Java-based NCF programming model - with a focus on web serving, content management, Internet services, and Enterprise integration. Jeff joined IBM in 1981 with a B.S. In Astronomy and Computer Science from Penn State University.
Within IBM, Jeff has worked in various Development, Research, Strategy, and Technical Marketing organizations and associated with products such as WebSphere, TCP/IP, ADSM, and VM/ESA - with an emphasis on web-enabling technologies and network computing software.
