QUESTION POSED ON: 14 January 2002
What are your thoughts concerning the OMG's latest specification, Model Driven Architecture (MDA)? Do you see this market making huge strides in 2002? Do you see a strong market for MDA-related software manufacturers?

MDA has lots of potential to take off in the market, but I do not believe the full benefits are realized yet. This year will be telling, especially if MDA can make some inroads into the world of content management and interactive portals. I think the opportunities are there if this mapping to real e-business issues today can be marketed as well.
