Does BPEL4WS support recursive Web service composition?

The BPEL4WS specification provides a model for recursive composition of
Web services through the use of WSDL to denote the public interface.
Recursive composition of Web services is achieved by having BPEL
orchestrate multiple Web services into a Web service, published by WSDL,
which can subsequently be orchestrated into another BPEL process and so
on. It's important to note that this model of recursive composition is
external and not internal, i.e. done through the public interface rather
than through the private implementation. For example, see the following
