JSML also stands for JScript Markup Language.

JSML (Java Speech API Markup Language) is a set of markup codes and symbols for speech synthesis -- text-to-speech (TTS) -- in voice Web browsers and voice enabled e-mail. JSML includes text description tags that describe the structure of the document and speaker directive tags that control the emphasis, pitch, rate, and pronunciation of text.
