Q

XML Signature, XML Encryption and XKMS...

As a VB6 developer that uses various Biometric SDK's to secure desktop applications, I was wondering if XML Signature, XML Encryption and XKMS which I have heard about recently, are mature enough to date, to use for securing access to applications running on a Web server?
The products are starting to emerge but it is early days yet in my opinion. I suspect that when products en-masse it will be to deliver a range of security technologies for XML together - most likely under the Web services security banner e.g. WS-Security.
