Q

Why is EAI important?

I've read a lot on EAI and my monograph for my master's degree is on this theme. I would like to demonstrate the importance of EAI to managers. Any suggestions on how to do this?
EAI and data integration are important because they define the cost of doing business and the structure of the corporation. In the late 90's this subject was driven by a wave of ERP integration. In this decade the same will be true of Web Services.
