When upgrading to new versions of MOM should applications be relinked?
It is strongly recommended that you always recompile and relink your applications, after upgrading any MOM libraries, unless the vendor explicitly says that you don't need to do so. Some interfaces or constant definitions might have changed in the new version of the MOM library.
