What is EMS? I want to know if EMS is somehow related to IVR, not the enhanced messaging system?

EMS stands for "Enhanced Messaging Service" and is similar (but more feature-rich) to the popular SMS (Short Messaging Service). For more information, see http://www.ericsson.com/ems/

Also important is MMS, the forthcoming Multimedia Messaging Service. It's similar to SMS and EMS, but allows you to "push" images, videoclips, etc. to MMS enabled mobile phones. See: http://www.ericsson.com/mms/
