What implementation(s) of XML Encryption and XML Signature would you recommend? (http://www.w3.org/Signature/, http://www.w3.org/Encryption/2001/)

Put another way, could you please recommend an especially good set of resources that would allow someone to get up to speed on encrypting and authenticating entire XML documents for transport across the Internet?
