Trying to develop a VoiceXML application...

I am trying to develop a VoiceXML application for the company I work for, but I have hit a problem. I want to submit

this information into an ASP page, so that I can eventually connect to a database and send information to it.

When I do submit the information to the ASP page (even subdialog does not work) I get the following error:

E: Event error.badfetch: file:C:/Program
Files/VoiceToolkit/Eclipse/workspace/Test/getstateinfo.asp?state_code=NY, line 1, column 2: Element name expected.
C: Sorry, must exit due to processing error.

The first line of the code is the standard <%@ Language=VBScript %> code that should be at the top of an ASP page. The ASP code is fine, as I have tested it with a normal HTML page.

I am testing the code through text debug in the package, could this be the reason why it is not working? I have two modes, run in audio mode and run in text mode and so far I have only tried it in the latter mode.

It looks as if the raw ASP page as opposed to the processed ASP page is being passed to the voice engin which is trying to treat the first line as an XML start-tag.
