Q

Proprietary messaging

In this expert response, David Lithicum discusses which type of messaging to stear clear of.

Is there any type of messaging/transport that I should specifically stay away from? Anything that's likely to cause me more trouble down the road even if it works for a particular job today?

I would stay away from anything that's proprietary. However, if it's working now, and you can change the solution easily, sounds like you have the right tool for the job.
