Java Lightway Messaging Service (JLWMS)

I haven't found too much information about the Java Lightway Messaging Service (JLWMS) API. Is it already implemented...

or still a proposal? Can you give me more information about it and resources so I can learn more?

JLWMS is a vendor-proprietary proposal of a messaging API which is derived from JMS (Java Message Service). The reason JLWMS is being proposed is to have something which is more "light-weight" than JMS. Here are some JLWMS resources:

However, it has been shown that JMS actually can be implemented for mobile devices, and in a very light-weight manner, such that you can use it on PDAs and Java-Enabled phones:
